My friend, Jodie over at Dark Between the Stars saw this at Confessions of a Tired Supergirl, so she participated and I thought I'd do the same. It just looked like fun to list things I really love.
Besides, I can't seem to pull myself from the Olympics long enough to have a fluid thought!
The idea came from a quote that Susanna (the said Tired Supergirl) read that said, "The things we love tell us what we are." So here ya go.
my Sword
3 sweet boys
1 hunka man
family (mom, grandma, mother-in-love, etc.)
my sistas, my friends
worship songs
school books
old books (1800's)
dictionary.com
Pride and Prejudice (book or movies...any of them...all of them)
Jane Eyre (same as P&P)
Much Ado About Nothing (it's Shakespeare, but it's hilarious!)
hand-written letters
early mornings
yellow sunshine
autumn leaves
rolling hills
tall trees
lightening storms
deep red
chocolate (hot, melted, baked, drizzled, poured or spread...)
coffee, with a touch of splenda and creme brulee
homemade shortbread
Christ-mas
pretty serving dishes and silverware
old glass doorknobs on old doors
wooden floors
old church pews
roosters in my kitchen
Tuscan/French Country decor
homemade bread
cool sheets on a soft bed
Hey! I've got some of those...I think I'll go crawl in 'em!
What are YOU made of?

Woohoo! I get to be 1st!! Do I get the GOLD? Oops! I'm hung up on the Olympics, too! So why do they show all the volleyball in the middle of the night? Bummer...I've got to sleep sometime!
Liked your list...love lightening storms and fresh bread, too! I've got bread in the machine right now for Mr. Fix-It's b-day tomorrow. He'd rather have Egg bread than a cake! His wish is my command!
You're made up of pretty good stuff!
I can relate to all, but the last one really rings my bell. Love cool sheets!
Wow you are really complex. I love spicy food and quiet. Some of my family and a few friends. Being out on the ocean. That about sums it up. I am way to simple
Great list. The cool sheets "ring my bell too". Good thing you didn't start the list off with em... I may not have made it through.
Oh, this is excellent! I saw that Jodie did it the other day and I am thinking about stealing it from her too.
So, you may not believe this, but I have never read Pride and Prejudice before...but last Friday I stopped and picked it up from the library and have been delving into it. Love it! Jane Eyre is next on my list.
Love the list....the lightening storms reminded me of my growing up years when all four of us kids would end up in bed with my mom and dad at the first crack of thunder! Happy Summer! Sue (tsg)
What a wonderful list!
You are made up of sweetness, loyalty, kindness, goodness, and so much more but the most important ingredient I see in you is JESUS! J E S U S J E S U S and Jesus is HIS nameO!
I love you!
