Create Post...Blah blah blah...

I need a breakthrough.

Inspiration.

Creativity.

I want so much to compose something that takes me whirling through that creative process of discovering what something special will be, because it's always a special creation, unique, and one-of-a-kind. Although it's not to be considered unparalleled by any means. Many a blogger has written far better...but it's different. It's a part of me.

I had a creative burst during the holidays. Yes, it showed up on my blog in places, but it also was in my decorating, my Christmas cookies, my gifts that I made to give away. It was so freeing, so liberating to let that creative flow move where it went, and take me along for the ride.

I wonder if that's how God felt when He created. Everything.

Did He ever get stumped, "What do I do now?"

"I know what I want to say, I just can't get it into words."

Or the one I keep coming up with: "It seems as if there's nothing left to create."

I know He didn't. He's the Author and the Perfector of, yes, our faith, but also Creativity itself. He's got more creativity that I can even comprehend. As a matter of fact, He's got more creativity than I can even learn about. In my whole lifetime, I could never have enough time to learn about all of His creation.

All there is to know about:
Astronomy, inner and outer space
Physics
Astrophysics
Nuclear Physics
Biology
Microbiology
Cellular Biology
Marine Biology
Botony (plant life)
Human Anatomy
Zoology
Entomology (insects)
Aerodynamics
Anthropology
Geology
Chemistry
Biochemistry
Bacteriology
(yes, these are all real sciences)
Climatology
Electronics
Genetics
Meteorology
Mineralogy
Thermodynamics
Mathematics (oh, mercy)

The list could literally go on and on...these are all sciences that most people choose ONE, and then spend their whole lives learning about. Learning about it. Not creating it from nothing.

Our God not only possesses the mental capacity to understand every one of these concepts thoroughly, and to comprehend how they would all be interconnected as they are, but He also has the creativity to make it all to be.

And I can't seem to get a blog post out.

I believe that God gave us all some level of creativity because we are made in His image. Now, before you start saying to yourself, "Oh, no. Nope. He gave me NO creativity." Sorry. He did. You just haven't discovered it yet...or learned how to fine tune it, maybe. But there's something.

At any rate, I haven't been able to come up with anything since the 12 Days of Christmas, but this was a start.

Chel, ya leave me speechless. Your simple pondering is deeper than a lot of posts I read! Most people aren't familiar with those sciences, let alone what they embody. I think you've met your quota today! You have my permission to rest while many of us try and figure out what you're talking about! The Bible says there is nothing new under the sun, but we are creative in our ability to rearrange it over and over, often without plagerism. And when we can't, we can revel in His creativity. Great post! Have some chocolate:)

Hmmmmmm.......I think I'd call this a blog post girlfriend!

I feel like that all the time. You want to post but you think ya just don't have anything relevant to share. Well thanks for stretching it and in the process we get to have something to ponder.

Blessings

Loved that science list! I'm debating coming up with my own preschool science program for my daughter, (science is just perfect at this age since it's all about discovering the world, and that's what they love to do) and I was just running through "the basics" with my husband - all we gotta cover is physics, biology, and chemistry, right? So we simply devote one day per week on each!

Right... There is SO much to be learned that I haven't even begun myself; where on earth do I begin with my daughter? Only a God could have thought through everything so well.

as I learn something new about God, it always amazes me how much more there is to learn, how much bigger He is, how much more wonderful than I can wrap my mind around.

Sometimes I think we don't see our creativity because we don't ask!

Chel, I think you surpassed your quota for a creative blog post with this one. Love it. Love that you even stew, mull, struggle, persist in considering and finding your creative outlet! I was told once by a person I considered most creative that the process is messy. Kind of like childbirth. There is waiting... there is false labor... labor... and then the creation. LOL. I liked that analogy. Put it into a new perspective for me. You did a great job. Have a blessed day!

The world's greatest inventors experienced the very same thoughts and ponderings and wonderings. And remember that God rested on the seventh day. Maybe you are experiencing brain-rest. That's ok. Embrace it. The creativity will pop back on one day soon, although this post is incredible. You so underestimate yourself! :)

True, there are so much to learn from earth, from God and from people. A lifetime isn't enough.

Great post! I was just dealing with this same thing. In my world though, I was feeling so overwhelmed with other things my blog got put on the backburner and I couldn't focus and got to a point I just didn't want to say...anything.

Look forward to reading your blog! I'm looking to homeschool, too. I'm a couple or three years away but I'm confident it is where God wants our family.

This is an AWESOME post My Chel! Not only are we made from the same dirt, we like to play in the same dirt as well! :)

There is SO much to discover about the majesty of our Elohim! The way He creates is more than amazing!

I think your creative juices are flowing. Just don't turn on that light bulb or that poor little fish is fried. :)

I am the same way. I feel like a bad blog post just isn't worth the effort. So I don't post at all or just do meme's. I am working on a post now though. A real post. :)
