Project 365 -- #1

So think of my 2009 Sunday posts as being kinda like a Wordless Wednesdays, except it's a week's worth on Sundays.

Sara over at Make Music from Your Heart to the Lord is hosting the Project 365 every Sunday through the year 2009. I thought this sounded like a fun project, so every day I will be taking little snapshots of our life together and posting a week at a time on Sundays. I'm pretty excited about it, because that means at the end of the year, I will have a picture for every day of this year! (You know, provided that I actually TAKE every picture that I'm supposed to.)

So take a gander, and if you'd like to learn more or see other people's pictures, go see Sara at the link above. Have a great Sonday!

New Year's Day Stuffed Sandwich

New Year's Day (#2) Seven Layer Dip
It was too much effort to try to pick only one of these.

Jan. 2
2008 was the year we discovered how much we love clementines.

Jan. 3
We began taking down the Christmas tree today. These are our "family ornaments." Every year since DH and I were dating, we have bought an ornament and have written our names and the year on each.

Jan. 4
After church and disassembling the tree, it's time for an afternoon nap while watching football through the eyelids.

See you next Sonday!

I don't know which is my favorite, the clementines or the 7 layer-dip. Great captures!

Really? You're going to take artistic beautiful pictures like this, and then we're supposed to throw up our stuff on our sites and say, "Look at dis!"? Sigh. OK. I'm sticking to my guns about not caring how lovely or not my shots are. But you took pictures like a food stylist would!

I just love your Christmas ornaments Chel. What a wonderful idea and legacy to leave for your children.

I'll have to go check out this meme. A picture everyday??? I'm not that interesting. LOL!

Your photos are gorgeous! Are you a foodie, too? Noticed that 3 of your pictures are of food :-)
I'm hoping Project 365 helps improve my photography skill 'cause I'd really like to be able to take pictures of food that look as good as yours.
And yeah, what's in the sandwich?!

I think a great post for tomorrow is the recipe for that sandwich (hint, hint).

The food pictures are amazing. You are talented at taking photos!

Your pics are amazing! I'm hoping that by doing this project that I drastically improve my photography skills (and learn more about my new digital SLR). I think the one of the clementines is my favorite. I also love your and your hubby's ornaments...what a wonderful tradition.

I love that you are doing project 365

Your picture of the clementines is just perfection. Love it. You're quite the little photographer, aren't you? :)

I'm going to be joining in on this, too, but a little late since I just found out about it.

yes I am loving my camera! I can't wait for other holidays and events so that I can have lenses. The bag he got me has room for like 5 lenses. I wonder what hubby is up to???

OK I HAVE to know what is inside that sandwich. And how you made it.

You should work for a cookbook company with these shots!
